Indian Journal of Dalit and Tribal Studies and Action
Unraveling Realities, Deepening Perspectives
The Indian Journal of Dalit and Tribal Studies and Action engages with dalit and adivasi cosmology, ontology, epistemology, axiology and action. Its primary goals are, to bring to the public academic domain research papers and articles by scholars, activists and practitioners working on issues concerning marginalised peoples with a special thrust on Asia. The IJDTSA offers the opportunity for constructive theoretical engagement and critical dialogue in the interest of achieving a deeper understanding of invisible lifeworld and realities. Ours is an academic journal and we wish to hold strict standards of articulation. The attempt is to open up spaces of dialogues across realities and not demean or dehumanise the ‘other’. We live in very complex realities in which such spaces of dialogue must be kept open as far as possible. We endeavour to publish empirical, conceptual and theoretical articles that make substantial contributions to the field in all areas of Dalit and Adivasi Studies and Action including.
